Nitya Nritya Foundation hosts an annual festival of Indian classical dance and music each year at the Rose Wagner, SLC. Day 1 of the festival will be in Leona Wagner Theatre and Day 2 of the festival will be in Jeanne Wagner Theater. This year, the annual Nitya Nritya Festival is scheduled for the weekend of 7-8 September 2024. The major performances are going to be by artist Mythili Prakash (https://mythiliprakash.com/), artist Manik Khan (https://www.manikkhan.com/bio), & local exponents of the Indian arts.

We will be providing hands on engagement with 3 art forms from India. Each session will be 35 mins long with a 5 minute intermission between them.

7 – 8 pm: “Agananuru – Purananuru” – A musical jaunt into ancient Tamil poetry by Samathmika Balaji & Krithiga Mohan.

A glimpse into the feminine sacred, viewed through a kaleidoscope of narratives and their ultimate unity.
