Tulum is a new band featuring familiar faces. The trio, led by Matt Smit, plays a variety of Matt’s originals as well as “chill picante groove,” a spicy caldo of rhythmic melodies. Matt’s sweet and saucy vocals are backed up by his stellar guitar work, wife Sarah’s persuasive percussion, and Phil Triolo’s various woodwinds.

Steppin’ on Main is a summer performance series at Eccles Theater and a partnership between Tin Angel, Eccles Presents, Salt Lake County Arts and Culture, and The Blocks Arts District.
A variety of performances every Friday draw audiences to the Eccles doorsteps for comedy, spoken word, fashion shows, and mariachi. The initiative puts money in the pockets of artists and brings more than 5,000 participants to Main Street, creating a outsized economic impact.
