April is National Volunteers Month, and we wanted to take the opportunity to thank our 275+ volunteer ushers at Abravanel Hall, Capitol Theatre, Eccles Theater and the Rose.

In 2019, our volunteers contributed over 39,000 hours of service supporting the arts. From welcoming guests with a smile to helping them find their seat, volunteers make a huge difference to our staff and are an integral part of our arts community. We couldn’t run our theatres without them.

Elizebeth Andrew said, “Volunteers don’t necessarily have the time; they just have the heart.”

We sincerely appreciate our volunteers for the heart they bring to our theatres. Once our venues are open again, these wonderful volunteers will be there to welcome you back.

From our staff at Salt Lake County Arts & Culture, thank you to our volunteer ushers and Happy National Volunteers Month!
