An annual Halloween tradition! Classic gothic horror meets face-melting rock music in this original production by Garrett Sherwood and Ryan Hayes. Deep Love is show without dialogue—a modern take on the opera—where the characters tell the ghostly story entirely through the veil of a rock & roll concert. It’s a timeless story of four souls (some living, some dead), whose lives are intertwined by their destructive pursuit of the love they cannot live without. Funeral attired recommended.
Run time: 120 minutes including 15 minute intermission.
All ages welcome. Infants being held do not require a ticket.

Inspired by the man behind the devices you use every day, Mark Campbell and Mason Bates’ GRAMMY®-winning one-act production explores the complex life, ambition, and spiritual searching of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in a gripping theatrical experience. Themes of connection and disconnection unfold through the signature “Symphonic Electronica” style of composer Mason Bates (who moonlights as a DJ and recently premiered a runaway hit at The Metropolitan Opera, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay). In the orchestra pit, the Utah Symphony intertwines with pulsing electronic beats, ambient soundscapes, and other digitally inspired textures that mirror the world Jobs helped create. It’s no wonder this Utah Opera re-release has been in demand since 2022!

A swashbuckling adventure. An epic romance. A timeless tale of vigilante justice. The spirit of revolution lives on in the wildly entertaining Zorro by Héctor Armienta.
After love awakens him to the plight of the oppressed in early 19th century Los Ángeles, a young man of noble blood dons a black mask to become Zorro—forsaking his birthright to defend the battered and subjugated mestizo Indians against the maniacal mayor (and his beloved Ana Maria from persecution). Will love and justice triumph against tyranny?
A tuneful, Puccini-inspired score and dynamic choreography give this lavish production an almost cinematic essence, bursting with Mexican musical influences, deft swordplay, and flamenco dance. Come ready for humor, action, and amor—a big, beautiful, and unabashedly lyrical performance with Latin flair.
