Join the Bells of Joyful Sound for Bells in Bloom: A Spring Handbell Concert. This lively event features an exciting mix of music, including the swashbuckling energy of “Pirates of the Caribbean,” the timeless beauty of “Fantasia on Old Hundredth (Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow)” and the feel-good anthem “Sweet Caroline.” Celebrate the season as handbell melodies ring out in joyful harmony, bringing together favorites old and new for an unforgettable spring evening. All are welcome—come enjoy the sounds of spring in full bloom!
The Bells of Joyful Sound handbell choir has delighted audiences throughout the greater Salt Lake area since 1997. Renowned as one of Utah’s premier adult community handbell choirs, they perform a diverse repertoire of unique and captivating music spanning five octaves of handbells and chimes. Under the direction of Liz Shields, a respected music educator, this talented ensemble is dedicated to sharing the beauty of handbell music with the community. Bells of Joyful Sound regularly presents public concerts and is available to perform at private and community events.
Run time: 90 minutes, no intermission.
All ages welcome. All patrons require a ticket, including infants being held.
