Bright Star
June 5th - June 13th, 2026
Regent Street Black Box
Salt Lake City, UT 84101
On sale: April 27th, 2026 at 10am
Inspired by a true story, BRIGHT STAR is a sweeping, heartfelt musical featuring a Tony®-nominated score by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell. Set against the vibrant backdrop of the American South in the 1920s and 1940s, this deeply emotional tale explores love, loss, and the transformative power of redemption. When literary editor Alice Murphy meets a young soldier just home from World War II, he awakens her longing for the child she once lost. Haunted by their unique connection, Alice sets out on a journey to understand her past—and what she finds has the power to transform both of their lives. With its stunning melodies and richly developed characters, BRIGHT STAR weaves an uplifting and poignant journey through time, filled with hope, heartache, and the promise of second chances. A beautifully genuine and soul-stirring musical, BRIGHT STAR captivates audiences with its deeply moving story and lively bluegrass score.
Run time: 150 minutes, includes 15 minute intermission.
Age policy: Recommended for ages 10 and up. Children 13 months and under (infants being held) do not require a ticket.

by Andrea D. Peterson
May 1st - 16th, 2026
Leona Wagner Black Box
Rose Wagner PAC
Salt Lake City, Utah
On sale: 4/1/2026 at 10am.
(Plan C) is a comedic drama about one woman's battle for autonomy in a world that seems hell-bent on deciding who she should be-from the roles she's expected to play to the biology she never asked to negotiate with. At 37, Ginnifer accidentally gets pregnant and suddenly finds herself navigating a minefield of outdated standards, her less-than-ideal baby daddy, her overbearing older sister, and a healthcare system that seems designed to work against her. As Ginnifer fights to reclaim her voice, her deeply personal decisions spiral into a high-stakes fight-not just over her body, but over her life. The real question remains: does she actually have control over her own path... or was she doomed from the start?
Run time: ~110 minutes.
Mature audiences only (18+). Infants not admitted. All patrons require a ticket.
